An Apology...

Asalamu Alaykum and a big H e l l o  to all my readers.

An apology for not being very active in this blog for the past month or so. The blessed month of Ramadan 2010 has kept me very busy, Alhamdulillah.

As in comparison to the month of Ramadan 2009, Alhamdulillah we had no flu, cough , temperature or all the other ailments we were suffering from last year.

For me it was an opportunity to make a spiritual and physical retreat, giving myself time to evaluate myself, my actions, my  relationships and above all to evaluate and rejuvenate my relationship with Allah, The Exalted and renew my relationship with the Holy Qur'an.

As I started my journey  with the Arabic language and The Holy Qur'an ( in Arabic)  nearly two years ago, I had somewhat a slow progress with my reading the Qur'an in the language that it was revealed.

I seemed to be stuck for ever and ever in the first 3 juzz . But I asked Allah to help me and I also  gave myself a little push and I have managed to progress to Juzz 22 in the space of the past 27 days and nights. I will not be able to finish the Whole Qur'an on time for Eid but Inshallah I will be able to do so in the next few weeks. It just seems to be getting easier and easier and everything only happens with Allah's permission. He only Knows when anything  is going to happen, the time, the place, the reasons and the outcome.  We can only ask Him to help us.

Tonight is the 28th night of the Month of Ramadan  and Eid is just round the corner. So now preparations are in order , to celebrate and rejoice. May Allah accept all our efforts.

However lets not relax ... I will still be seeking Laylatul Qadr and try to obtain maximum benefit in the last few days of Ramadan,  Inshallah.

I would like to share with you some of the work  and Inshallah I will be writing again soon.

Apology accepted:) Glad to see that even though you are 28th Ramadan you are still consistent with praying more in the last ten days. Mashallah. Keep it up.
