Be mentally prepared for ingratitude

You will be amazed at the amount of people who think that others should and must be grateful for any good they might have done for them...
They only built themselves and their expectations up for a fall.
When the appreciation and gratefulness is not forthcoming, they feel  let down and miserable.

But why should they?

First of all do not do anything seeking rewards from others. The only rewards worth having are from Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’Ala).

"We feed you seeking Allah’s Countenance only. We wish for no reward, nor thanks from you."
(Qur'an 76: 9)

And would one  be surprised with ingratitude when one reads this ayaat?

"And when harm touches man, he invokes Us, lying down on his side, or sitting or standing. But when We have removed his harm from him, he passes on his way as if he had never invoked Us for a harm that touched him?"
 (Qur'an 10: 12)
If people can be like this towards the One Who gave them everything why are you so surprised?

When your Faith is new is a little like the toddler’s first footsteps.
You hold on to the furniture, the hand of the loving parent and you take your first uncertain baby steps.
The more you practice , the more strength and confidence you gain.
You become a confident walker who in time offers his hand in support to others.
Work on your faith, even if your first moves are uncertain and wobbly.
Keep on practising every day.
See the change in the baby steps.
They will become Big Strides in the Right Direction.
Don’t forget to ask....
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
[All] praise is [due] to Allah, Lord of the worlds -
الحمد لله رب العالمين

It is You we worship and You we ask for help.
إياك نعبد وإياك نستعين
Guide us to the straight path -
اهدنا الصراط المستقيم
The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, not of those who have evoked [Your] anger or of those who are astray.

Quick remedies for low Eeman

From time to time we all get those days when our Eeman is at low levels. We feel disappointed, guilty, desperate, and spiritually failed. This includes myself.
In days like these, I feel that nothing I do or say is right, I feel that I am drifting away from Allah (swt) and I heading towards a helpless and hopeless end. Astagfirullah
For me, low eeman is a condition more severe than a medical condition. And I treat it as such.
When I feel like this, I am seek an urgent remedy just as I seek the remedy when I am ill.
A lot has been written and said about ways to revive and increase our eeman.
But as it is and as  in the cases of us self treating our physical ailments I will list a summary of quick and effective ways for a quick recovery…
In the Book of Allah, the Qur’an, we read that So we already have been given the prescription for the condition of a lowering eeman
“..When his verses are recited to them, it increases them in faith”… straight afterwards the Qur’an mentions acts of obedience, like the prayer, and giving alms..
So here is another prescribed remedy…
1) Read, recite, listen to the Qur’an and contemplate in its meanings
2) Increase acts of obedience
In addition,
3) Stay away from sins
4) Dua- Ask Allah(sw) t0 to strengthen you
5) Take a look of the beautiful nature, marvel at the beautiful creation of Allah, be grateful, feel His Power and Wisdom and feel your own helplessness and Allah’s Greatness.
May Allah (swt) keep you and me in the best of Eeman
Remember me in your duas

When you feel threatened by danger as a survival mechanism you flee. We all have certain things we are scared from and when we are confronted by those, we run as fast as we can.
I am now going to tell you of a fear that not only we do not run away from, but we run towards it.
That is the fear of Allah, Subhanahu Wa Ta’Ala.
We fear Him and we turn to Him in repentance and seeking His forgiveness and comfort. It is for our spiritual survival
Subhana Allah!
